Marcin Filipowicz

A film director and screenwriter, graduate of the University of Silesia Radio and Television Department and the Wajda School. He is the author of award-winning short films and documentaries, consistently developing a distinctive cinematic language rooted in emotional truth, naturalism, and an exceptional sensitivity toward his characters.

His films have been screened and recognized at major Polish and international film festivals. Works such as Chłopcy z motylkami, Echo, and Trampkarze drew industry attention with their moving, intimate stories about relationships, coming of age, and the search for closeness. In 2023, he made his feature film debut with Braty, further establishing himself as one of the most compelling filmmakers of the younger generation of Polish cinema.

Alongside his film career, he has spent many years working in the advertising industry, directing commercial campaigns, television spots, and branded content for both Polish and international brands. In his commercial work, he combines cinematic storytelling with documentary authenticity, creating emotionally driven, credible, and visually striking narratives. He has worked on projects for clients in the lifestyle, retail, pharmaceutical, and technology sectors, contributing to both large-scale brand campaigns and more intimate storytelling formats.
